Glenn Reddick is the owner of Glenn Reddick Professional Services and regularly partners with USCG as its design consultant. Glenn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University in 1979. He is a registered professional engineer in Nevada and three other states and has over 30 years of broad based experience in the energy industry. He has held management/technical positions with Hercules Municipal Utility, Navigant Consulting, Resource Management International, Greiner/Daverman Engineering and Q. T. Colwell and Associates.
Glenn is an expert in electric planning, operations, maintenance, reliability, and power quality. He also provides expertise in the areas of transmission design, substation design, and distribution design. He has served as an expert witness before state and federal regulatory agencies on issues related to the planning, design, capital cost, operation and maintenance of transmission and distribution facilities. He has also served in a lead role for projects associated with the condition assessment and valuation of transmission and distribution assets internationally and in the development of financial and engineering analysis to support financing activities.
Glenn has served as lead engineer for preparation of capital improvement programs for numerous municipal and rural distribution systems. The assignments typically included capacity expansions, operational analysis, voltage levels and relay protection assessments.
He also provided forecasts of operation and maintenance expense, customer service expense and administrative and general expense. This information was utilized in a new financial model developed to forecast system average rates for different service scenarios.
